My exploration into semi-abstraction has germinated work of a lyrical landscape that employs organic pattern as a metaphor to express the cyclic nature of our relationships with the others. These patterns subtly reference the skin of serpents which is underpinned by my catholic upbringing and cultural metaphor. The intention is to evoke a space to contemplate a subject matter that is sensed rather than seen.
